Career Opportunities at Quality Air Care

Primary Purpose and Essential Tasks:


  1. Repairs and maintains HVAC equipment.
  2. Implement HVAC best practices to maximize life of equipment.
  3. Opens and closes work orders in proper guidelines.
  4. Minimizes down time through proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance.
  5. Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
  6. Maintains, operates, and repairs HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildings.
  7. Inspects building HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions as prescribed by Facility Manager.
  8. Performs assigned repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance.
  9. Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
  10. Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
  11. Reviews historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection, testing and preventive maintenance schedule.
  12. Operates company vehicle in a safe manner and follows prescribed routines to service locations in a timely manner.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned.
  14. Skills: Must be a self starter. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Must be able to carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
  15. Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. HVAC certification or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
  16. Experience Required: 3 years' HVAC experience required. Experience in commercial facilities environment preferred.
